August is almost at an end.... with Fall approaching, not to sure I like that one as that means winter is on it's way. Winter is not all bad as long as you can snowmobile once in a while.

It has been a busy summer fun of change. Eileen has moved to Texas, which has been a very good move for her and her family. I miss spending time with her chatting over coffee however we do call and chat with coffee in hand so it is close to the same. She is with in driving distant of her family and her son and his family. Which is very nice, Stacy, her son has 3 daughters and will be adding a son this weekend !!!

I am looking for groups to join and expand my interests. I have called on a few but that is as far as it has gone. I am going to the gym which I really enjoy. I like the weighs and how it makes my body feel afterwards. They have an aqua class two nights a week but it is later and I have yet to try it out. That is something I would like try in the future. I meant a lady who is a math teacher and has offered to help me with my "lack" of math skills. I am excited about that as I want to finish my degree and this should help me to just that.

Abby turned 13 this month wow how times files. She had a fun party with some girls she is friends with and a few of them spent the night at the house!! Hope is now 7 and first grade dancing and playing soccer. She will be taking spanish at school and is looking forward to that. Jackson started JR. High this year, he found is locker and stated he had a nice first day. I have not spoke with O, Grace or Myaha regarding new things with them. Lil bit has her helmet and her week visit is today! She sure looks cute with it on. Amber says she thinks she looks like a super hero...

My parents are doing well as are my sisters and brothers. Scott and Beau still want to move to S. Carolina and are working towards that. Elaine and her family are busy with Shantel and the new baby girl, Maleea. They are all doing well.

I am applying for Secretary positions with Canyons, to further a career with the district. I enjoy working for Canyons and want to make a future for myself here.

Can't think of anything else at this time. I would have loved to see Corie and her family this year, let's hope for next summer.

It's Friday Yea!!!

Made it one more week and life is good. Lil Bit, Erin and Bert were over last night and I was able to get a hair color. I am beeeeeeeeautifullll once again. Missing Abby and Hope as they are visiting grandparents in Vegas. They should be back in a week or so. Will tend Lil Bit tonight and be able to spend a few hours loving on her, that always warms my heart. Working on the yard and maintaining it at this time, way to hot to transplant anything and the garden is looking very nice filling in very well.
At this time in my life I am tying to figure out how to network and start a circle of friends, (Eileen has moved to Texas) not sure of what direction to take to make that happen but I am working on it, in time I will have the circle of friends that will add to my life and adventures that may come my way. My life is full of joys and happiness and the added friendships would be a bonus. For now I will work on this challenge and let the doors open for the new opportunities that lie ahead.

Well it has been almost on month at my new job and I still enjoy it. There have been some interesting people and events that have happened but all in all I really like what I will be doing. We will all be moving into different buildings and starting to work the positions that we were all hired for by the mid Aug time. That will be good for all of us.
July 4th was a day for me to reflex on my life as a mom and grammie and how it has changed again. There are fewer BBQ's and fireworks at the home and fewer busy holidays that keep me hopping. I now have said good bye to a 20 year friendship with my best friend who has moved to Texas. Which brought on "on one at home, no BBQ, no fireworks with the kids and no friend to go and hang out with to bug" My emotions were from one end to the other that day and I have only but to embrace where I am in my life and find a way to make it work for me. It is a sad time, a quiet time, a happy time, and a time full of challenges and new adventures where doors will open and allow for me to experience my life once again in a different light. I will welcome this time with faith and integrity, allowing my higher power to guide me. Here's to the next chapter of my life Whoot Wooo Hang on to the willows willy it's going to be one heck of a ride !!!

Well, my last day at IHC was June 5th. I have missed alot of the people that I became friends with but I have not missed the Numbers and the Quota's that had to be meant each day.
I started with the new district that split from Jordan School District on June 10th. I took a couple of days off just to spend time with lil bit and work some in the yard. Those were the days :) I have since found out that I am not an HR secretary but that I am a secretary to communications and will be working with the communications team along with the Exec's of the new Canyons School District helping with the planning of each event that Canyons is involved with. Our first event will be at the Real Soccer game on June 27th, where we will be hosting and presenting the 1/2 time. The next event is the grand opening of the school district on July 1st starting with a bus parade along with many other events thru out the day. The district office will not open for us to work until later that day allowing our employees to be involved in most of the festivities!!! Then the Dream Big dinner which I will also be involved in. It is alot of after hours involvement but after all the planning and preparations it will be nice to see the finished event !!! Right now I am helping out with HR until the district has moved into their new buildings, at that time I will be in a different location than HR and will be working strictly with Communications and the Exec's. It is very busy and very crazy with everything that needs to be completed to open the doors of the district offices by Aug 1st. I am enjoying the challenges and gaining alot of knowledge. I am so looking forward to the day when we have our buildings and can set up shop. I feel it was a good change for me to take this position and know that doors will open for me to have a future with the Canyons School District.

A quite sunday afternoon

OK girls, last night was ok, dinner Mexican and we all know how I feel about that and how my tummy feels about that......... so enough said on that topic. The movie was XMen-Wolverine, it was good, not as high intensity as I felt the others were but it was good and helped me to know how the whole thing started, which I have not read anything about the story. So it was a good movie. The company was OK, talked a lot about himself, a lot..... Just friend material so it was a nice evening all in all.
For today, did watering, some cleaning, checked on line for many different things that needed my attention and now blogging then to work on a project that needs my attention. The house is quiet as the rest of the family is gone, which has it nice points but I do miss everyone :)
For those of you that have not heard. I will be taking on a new job with the Canyons School District with in 2 weeks from now. It is an entry level position but the girl that hired me is the director of communications and stated that I will be helping her out a lot with getting the department up and running asap. As we will have from now until August 1st, 2009 to make that happen. I am excited to be back in an HR position and looking forward to learning new things and meeting new people. :) Well, I am off for now and on to my project. Will blog more later. :)
